ICONIC PLACE

The hotel is situated in a privileged cove surrounded by nature on the Costa Brava. Landscape and architecture merge into one, creating spaces that engage in dialogue with their environment. The forest descends to meet the sea, integrating all the recreational facilities: the restaurant, bar, pool area, solarium, changing rooms and massage area.
The briefing called for redesigning the areas closest to the beach without losing their uniqueness. The intervention needed to respect the essence of the location while enhancing its distinctive, down to earth character.

HONEST MATERIALS

The material chosen were inspired by mid-century principles, focusing on simplicity, functionality and the prominence of natural light. Travertine is used for the floors, hydraulic tiles for the bathrooms and changing rooms, and hemp for the pergolas. Chestnut wood cladding conveys authenticity, avoiding excessive decoration or unnecessary embellishments. Every decision seeks to strengthen the connection with the landscape and impart naturalness to the designed spaces. The result is an honest, timeless language faithful to the principles of modernity.

WARMTH AND COHERENCE

The furniture follows the same philosophy: natural materials, neutral colours and clean lines. The original furniture, featuring sleek lines, soft curves and white tones, was preserved and complemented by new wooden pieces that add warmth and visual coherence. The process involved a careful selection with the client, where close attention to every functional detail was paid. Brands such as Expormim, Kettal, Bivaq, Mobles114, Marset and Santa & Cole are part of the project. Each element was chosen for its quality, durability and a contemporary aesthetic without sacrificing authenticity. The furniture reinforces the continuity between architecture, landscape and experience, integrating seamlessly into the whole. Their presence give the spaces a balanced personality, blending Mediterranean modernity with local tradition.

EXPERIENCE AND COLOUR

The colour palette was composed carefully, seeking beauty through the simplicity of tones. The balance between modernity and timelessness brings freshness and serenity to every environment created. The integration of architecture, interior design and landscape translates into an enveloping, genuine experience. The project aims to convey calm and naturalness without artifices, respecting the essence of the site. The final outcome is a contemporary yet dateless design, in harmony with its surroundings. A space where elegance and freshness coexist, projecting authenticity in every detail of the hotel.
